「替」和「代」

帮别人做。代替某人。两个字一个味。

我替你去。         I'll go for you.
他代我发言。       He spoke on my behalf.
用 A 代替 B。      Replace B with A.

for 也是"替"

I'll do it for you.       我替你做。
She answered for me.      她替我回答了。

中文的"替"，九成是英文的 for。

动手

替我谢谢他。

✅ Thank him for me.

我代表团队。

✅ I speak on behalf of the team.

用茶代替咖啡。

✅ Replace coffee with tea. / Tea instead of coffee.

你代她签个字。

✅ Sign for her. / Sign in her place.

replace A with B

这个顺序是个坑：

❌ replace coffee by tea
✅ replace coffee with tea

公式：replace + 旧的 + with + 新的

英文是把旧的 "用" 新的替换。
