「以为」

我想的是 A，真相是 B。 中文一个字带反转。

我以为你不来了。   I thought you weren't coming.
他以为没人看见。   He thought no one saw.

以为 = 我原本的想法（后来发现错了）

英文就是朴素的 thought —— 只是用过去式暗示"现在知道不是那样"。
