中文最圆的语气词。显而易见 / 没啥好争的。

是你自己要去的嘛。     You wanted to go, didn't you.
好嘛，我去。           Fine, I'll go.
这不是显然的嘛。       Isn't that obvious?

嘛 = 软化语气 + 暗示"这不明摆着"

英文里的 "tag question"

中文的"……嘛？" 对应英文的 反问尾巴：

You said so, didn't you?
You're tired, aren't you?

前面肯定，后面带个小否定问回来。加一层"不是吗"的味。
