「以前」和「以后」

时间的前后。英文一张表搞定。

三年前。           Three years ago.
十点以前。         Before 10.
下课以后。         After class.

ago vs before

three years ago         从现在算起三年前（有"现在"做锚点）
three years before      三年之前（相对于某个过去时间点）

I moved here 3 years ago.              我三年前搬来的。（从现在算）
He had left 3 years before.            他在那（之前）三年前就走了。

ago 粘着"现在" —— 所以要过去式：

❌ I have moved here 3 years ago.
✅ I moved here 3 years ago.

动手

五年以前我还在上学。

✅ I was in school 5 years ago.

睡觉以前刷牙。

✅ Brush your teeth before bed.

结婚以后她变了。

✅ She changed after getting married.

以后再说吧。

✅ Let's talk later.
